Abortion Vote Couple Posts Final Numbers: 74% Say Give Birth
The infamous couple that received international attention for asking the Internet to vote whether or not they would have an abortion of a 17-18 week-old unborn child have posted the final numbers from their survey.

Although more than two million votes were cast in the poll, the couple were concerned about significant vote fraud given how the side favoring having an abortion shot up drastically and rapidly after they received media attention.

After having an unnamed firm analyze the polling result, the couple said today the valid numbers show just over 278,000 votes with 73.79 percent urging them to give birth and 26.21 percent saying they should get an abortion.

Although the couple has since admitted the BirthOrNot web site and corresponding vote was not meant as something on which they would actually base their decision, Pete Arnold said today the couple did have an initial pause when pregnant.

This website and the vote behind it was started due to our initial uncertainty with our current pregnancy, he said. Full story at LifeNews.com

Abortion Practitioner Loses Medical License Permanently
Abortion practitioner George Shepard of Delaware, who assisted with abortions at the Maryland business of abortion practitioner Steven Chase Brigham, has permanently lost his medical licence.

Shepard s license and that of abortion practitioner Nicola Riley were suspended by the Maryland Board of Physicians on an emergency basis after complaints were filed against them for a severely botched late-term abortion that required emergency surgery to save the woman s life.

The information brought to the medical board s attention showed how Brigham, who is not licensed in Maryland, was operating an illegal late-term abortion scheme where he would start abortions late as 36 weeks at his Voorhees, New Jersey abortion center, where he is not licensed to do late-term abortions. Then, he would have the women drive themselves to his abortion clinic in Elkton, Maryland.

Brigham led a car caravan of women from his the abortion center to his Maryland one after one of the patients was critically injured during the abortion at his Pennsylvania abortion business.

Brigham put the semiconscious, bleeding woman in the back of a rental car and drove her to a nearby hospital instead of calling for an ambulance and drawing attention to problems at his abortion center, American Women s Services. Full story at LifeNews.com

Sarah Palin Book America by Heart is a Pro-Life Family Story
Sarah Palin s new book could easily be subtitled, A Pro-Life Story. Like threads woven through a baby blanket, pro-life observations run throughout America By Heart: Reflections on Family, Faith, and Flag.

the truth is, every baby is a miracle, whether he or she is planned, and whether he or she is wanted.

I don t recall ever reading a book written by a former officeholder that included so many pro-life references. Palin may be the most prominent woman in American history to espouse the pro-life message. But Palin does not seem to consider herself that unusual, given the fact that to be pro-life is to be pro-woman. Full story at LifeNews.com

Planned Parenthood Played Role in New Ella Abortion Drug
Planned Parenthood dominates the abortion market doing more than 25 percent of all abortions annually in the United States. So it s no surprise the abortion business is taking credit for developing the new ella abortion drug.

Cecile Richards, the president of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, submitted a press release in response to the news that the maker of ella abortion drug, Watson Pharmaceuticals, has announced it is now available nationwide.

Planned Parenthood applauded the launch of the drug and contributed to the misinformation Watson, the FDA and other abortion advocates are putting forward by calling it an emergency contraceptive pill. It works within five days of intercourse, making it a clear abortifacient pill because conception will have already occurred in many cases developing a new, unique human being. Poll: Women Uninformed About Medical Dangers of Birth Control Pill
In association with a conference held in the nation s capitol today about the 50th anniversary of the birth control pill, a pro-life group has released the results of a new poll.

The survey finds women are generally uninformed about the potentially dangerous medical risks and ramifications associated with the oral contraceptive pill.

Human Life International America released a new national poll surveying teenaged and adult women showing widespread usage of the birth control pill despite women not knowing much about potential harmful effects.

The poll, conducted by professional firm the polling company/WomenTrend surveyed more than 800 women aged 15-44 in the United States.

Once learning that the birth control pill can raise the risk of contracting breast cancer, about 40 percent of women in the poll were more deterred from using it than before. Full story at LifeNews.com

Potential Republican Presidential Candidates Raise Big Bucks in PACs
New figures from the Federal Election Commission show potential Republican presidential candidates for the 2012 campaign are raising big bucks through their political action committees.
The PACs provide financial support for candidates by building relationships with them, pay for the salaries of staff people who can help get them better known in crucial primary and caucus states as well as nationwide, and help with travel and other expenses. Full story at LifeNews.com

Planned Parenthood Abortion Biz Drops Choice on Earth Christmas Cards
The national Planned Parenthood abortion business formerly sold Choice on Earth Christmas cards in prior years but appears to have dropped them, perhaps due to poor sales or criticism.

Jill Stanek, the pro-life nurse and blogger noticed the abortion business did not offer them over the last two years and doesn t have to have the cards rolled them out in time for this year s Christmas sales season. Full story at LifeNews.com

Ben Nelson Uses Ruling to Claim ObamaCare Doesn t Fund Abortions
Senator Ben Nelson of Nebraska was one of two pro-life Democrats to find himself declared a traitor by the pro-life movement for supporting the ObamaCare bill that funds abortions.

Despite the unanimous legal analysis of national pro-life organizations, some media outlets and political fact checking web sites indicating the health care reform legislation did not contain sufficient language to prevent abortion funding, Nelson voted for the bill anyway.

Now, the senator is using part of a ruling issued this week against a lawsuit seeking to overturn ObamaCare as a defense of his position. Full story at LifeNews.com

Defeated Pro-Life Democrat Driehaus Sues Pro-Life Group
In the latest installment of the attacks on a pro-life group by a pro-life Democratic congressman, Steve Driehaus of Ohio has now filed a lawsuit against the Susan B. Anthony List.

Driehaus is the member of Congress who filed a complaint with the Ohio Election Commission during the waning days of the 2010 elections because SBA wanted to purchase billboards exposing his voting record.

The billboards would have informed his constituents that he had voted to support taxpayer funding of abortions by virtue of voting for the ObamaCare bill that all pro-life groups say will eventually fund abortions. The congressman claimed that is false and that the health care reform bill did not contain abortion funding. Full story at LifeNews.com

WHO Study Finds 30% Drop in Deaths From Unsafe Abortions
IA new study by researchers from the World Health Organization finds more evidence countering the argument that abortions should be legalized in other nations because illegal ones are unsafe.

WHO researchers Iqbal Shah and Elisabeth Ahman issued a report in the current issue of Reproductive Health Matters noting the umber of women dying from unsafe abortion has decreased by approximately one-third.

They found a drop from 67,000 deaths in 2003 to 47,000 in 2008 a decrease that shows unsafe abortions and abortion deaths at a lower number than estimated by abortion advocates. Full story at LifeNews.com.
